I'm drawn to flowers because of their colour, beauty and the delicate momentary presence in our world.  They hold such a powerful significance in our lives and are a reminder of the cycle of life with change comes renewal and impermanence. Painting allows me to enter a more romantic and otherworldly realm in their form, softness, colour and wonder of dream like quality.  Flowers are a reminder of how precious each and every moment is and how something can be so soft and temporary yet so significant.
