The Primavera painting which is by Sandro Botticelli is a Painting that I studied in my first year at Middlesex University. I didn’t feel I was satisfied with my version and so I decided to revisit it and try to improve on an idea I had that could be worked on further during the lockdown.
I was looking at what had worked well and what I could improve on.
I decided to carry on to capture the composition of the original Primavera and look at how the composition floats on the surface of the midline of the painting, like magic. This Painting speaks of mystical mythological stories with hidden meanings and other worlds and charm and beauty, and I wanted to convey this.
